Liz offers customized guided visualizations as part of your session. Our bodies respond to words and images. We sometimes carry stuck narratives in our body where we might have experienced pain, trauma, discomfort, or stored emotional blockage. By infusing these areas with new imagery and changing your perspective, we give the body and mind an opportunity to push a reset button, flipping the switch on that old narrative, giving you a fresh start.
Night Sky Acupuncture + Ideaphoria produces The Opposite of Anxiety podcast, providing impromptu image-based storytelling for your self-care. These guided visualizations incorporate principles of Chinese Medicine with information gleaned from the body’s energetics along with a poet’s love of image and a writer’s insistence on heightened sensory language. The Opposite of Anxiety wants to help you feel more comfortable and safe in your body and being using your own imagination. That’s it.
Before you listen, carve out some uninterrupted time for yourself (20-30 minutes) in a quiet dark space. You can be sitting or laying down. Some people prefer to wear headphones.
